Last week, The Vice President of the Government and Minister of the Interior, Davor Božinović, along with the Minister of Labour, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy, Marin Piletić, held a press conference announcing several upcoming changes to the Law on Foreigners.
They emphasized that the country has become an attractive destination for global workers and highlighted the positive impact of importing foreign labor on Croatia’s economy. These new measures prioritize the protection of foreign workers.
In this post, we highlight the biggest changes. *Please note, these changes have not YET come into effect as of March 4, 2024. We will announce it as soon as we know more.
